Christina Rossetti : ( 1830 – 1894 ) : : Born in 1830 in London, Christina Rossetti, the author of Goblin Market and Other Poems, is a major Victorian Poet. Christina Rossetti’s tribute to her mother, Frances Polidori. The two can be seen in the portrait above, painted by Christina’s brother Dante Gabriel.
[Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome] Christina Rossetti – 1830-1894
Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome Has many sonnets: so here now shall be One sonnet more, a love sonnet, from me To her whose heart is my heart’s quiet home, To my first Love, my Mother, on whose knee I learnt love-lore that is not troublesome; Whose service is my special dignity, And she my loadstar while I go and come. And so because you love me, and because I love you, Mother, I have woven a wreath Of rhymes wherewith to crown your honoured name: In you not fourscore years can dim the flame Of love, whose blessed glow transcends the laws Of time and change and mortal life and death. Christina Rossetti – 1830-1894 : : : : “[Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome]” was published in A Pageant and Other Poems (Macmillan, 1881). The poem, like the collection, is dedicated to her mother. Rossetti was educated at home by her parents, and her mother in particular had a strong role to pay in her development as a writer. It’s said that before she had even learned to write, Rossetti had dictated her first story to her mother. She dictated her first poem which ran with line : : ‘Cecilia never went to school / Without her gladiator.’ ‘Sonnets are full of love’ is sentimental poem which celebrates the ever-giving love of the mother for her child, Rossetti focuses on the ‘first Love’ in her life, her mother. It is the unconditional, reciprocated love of a mother for her daughter, and vice versa as in the lines : “And so because you love me, and because / I love you, Mother , I have woven a wreath Of rhymes wherewith to crown your honoured name :” The first quatrain brings us back to sonnets , love , and the heart several times.
” [She lived with her mother virtually all of her life. She never married. Many of her poems engage with the question of religious belief, such as ‘Good Friday’ (a poem about honest religious doubt as much as faith) and ‘Twice’, about the importance of Christian forgiveness and redemption (the poem is spoken by a fallen woman, a theme that can also be seen in ‘Goblin Market’).she wrote: sonnets, ballads, narrative poems, lyrics, even Christmas carols (‘In the Bleak Midwinter’ to name but the most famous). She was remarkably prolific: the Penguin edition of her Complete Poems runs to well over 1,000 pages and is a treasure-trove.Rossetti died in 1894 and was buried in Highgate Cemetery where fellow Victorian writer George Eliot had earlier been laid to rest. She went on to influence a range of later poets, including Gerard Manley Hopkins, Ford Madox Ford, and Elizabeth Jennings. Philip Larkin was an admirer, praising her ‘steely stoicism’.]” ( As written by Dr. Oliver Tearle Of Loughborough University. ” Sonnets Are Full Of Love ” By Victorian Poet , Christina Rossetti : : અર્થ નિર્દેશ આસ્વાદ કાવ્યાર્થ વિચાર સંકલન વિ જયરાજ Pending visit this post again later on to enjoy the appreciation of the poem. : : : : Information Appreciation and poem Analysis Presented by V Jayaraj Pune India July 9 , 2022 : : : : : : :
Edgar Allan Poe : America’s major figure in world literature primarily based on his ingenious and profound short stories, poems, and critical theories, which established a highly influential rationale for the short form in both poetry and fiction. To My Mother : Edgar Allan Poe : A Charming Sonnet For Edgar’s Mother In Law : Maria Clemm : Mother of Edgar’s wife Virginia.
To My Mother BY EDGAR ALLAN POE Because I feel that, in the Heavens above, The angels, whispering to one another, Can find, among their burning terms of love, None so devotional as that of “Mother,” Therefore by that dear name I long have called you— You who are more than mother unto me, And fill my heart of hearts, where Death installed you In setting my Virginia’s spirit free. My mother—my own mother, who died early, Was but the mother of myself; but you Are mother to the one I loved so dearly, And thus are dearer than the mother I knew By that infinity with which my wife Was dearer to my soul than its soul-life. Edgar Allan Poe : : ( January 19 , 1809 – October 7 , 1849 : Died at Age 40 )Poe is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre. He is widely regarded as a central figure of Romanticism in the United States, and of American literature. Poe was one of the country’s earliest practitioners of the short story, and considered to be the inventor of the detective fiction genre, as well as a significant contributor to the emerging genre of science fiction. Poe is the first well-known American writer to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career. His work for literary jounals and periodicals forced him to move among several cities, including Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City. Edgar was born in Boston, the second child of actors David and Elizabeth “Eliza” Poe. His middle name (really a second surname) was derived from his ‘adopted’ parents. He was probably named Edgar, by the way, after Edgar in King Lear: his (biological) parents were both actors, who were starring in a production of Shakespeare’s play when their son was born. His father abandoned the family in 1810, and when his mother died the following year, Poe was taken in by John and Frances Allan of Richmond, Virginia. They never formally adopted him, but he was with them well into young adulthood. He attended the University of Virginia but left after a year due to lack of money. In 1827, he published his first collection ‘Tamerlane and Other Poems’, credited only to “a Bostonian”. In 1836, he married his 13-year-old cousin, Virginia Clemm, but she died of tuberculosis in 1847. In January 1845, Poe published his poem “The Raven” to instant success. He planned for years to produce his own journal The Penn (later renamed The Stylus), but before it could be produced, he died in Baltimore on October 7, 1849, at age 40, under mysterious circumstances. The cause of his death remains unknown, and has been variously attributed to many causes including disease, alcoholism, substance abuse, and suicide. Poe and his works influenced literature around the world, as well as specialized fields such as cosmology and cryptography. He and his work appear throughout popular culture in literature, music, films, and television. A number of his homes are dedicated museums. The Mystery Writers of America present an annual award known as the Edgar Award for distinguished work in the mystery genre.
The poem ” To My Mother” was not written about Poe’s biological mother who died when he was still an infant. Nor, though, was it written about his adopted mother, Mrs Allan. Instead, the subject of ‘To My Mother’ is in fact Poe’s mother-in-law, Maria Clemm – the mother of Poe’s wife (and cousin), Virginia Clemm, whom he married in 1836. Virginia died in 1847, two years before Poe wrote this touching tribute to both Virginia and her mother. ‘To My Mother’ was published in July 1849, only months before Poe’s untimely death, aged just 40. The poem is a Shakespearean sonnet, rhymed “ababcdcdefefgg.” : : : : : : :

A picture memory brings to me; I look across the years and see Myself beside my mother’s knee. I feel her gentle hand restrain My selfish moods, and know again A child’s blind sense of wrong and pain. But wiser now, a man gray grown, My childhood’s needs are better known. My mother’s chastening love I own.
John Greenleaf Whittier : : : : ( 1807 – 1892 ): Tribute To Mother , is A delightful ‘little paean’ to the poet’s mother. In this short poem in which the American Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier (1807-92) recalls the time when he was a small child and sat beside his mother’s knee. The poet’s mother restrained his ‘selfish moods’ and taught him a ‘chastening love. The poet penned this short tribute to his mother, acknowledging the part she played in the poet – and man – he grew up to be. His Quaker upbringing – and the values instilled in him from a young age by his mother – probably also had a hand in making him the poet he became. The poet was inspired by the great Bard of Ayrshire, Robert Burns. (They were called the Fireside Poets because their work was often read aloud by families gathered around the fire at home; Longfellow, one of their number, even published a poetry volume titled The Seaside and the Fireside in 1850 ). This fireside poet’s aspects could be viewed as embodied also in this poem. : : John Greenleaf Whittier’s Mother poem : Information Appreciation and poem Analysis Presented by V Jayaraj Pune India July 7 , 2022 : : : : : Pending .. . Ann Taylor : ( 1782 – 1866 ) : : : :
Ann Taylor (1783 –1866) born in Islington , England in a well educated family was a poet and critic. Ann’s younger sister Jane Taylor (1783-1824) is best-remembered for having written the words to the children’s rhyme ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’. Second stanza (‘When pain and sickness made me cry, / Who gazed upon my heavy eye, / And wept for fear that I should die?’) is a reminder that infant mortality was a very real presence in Taylor’s time, with many children not surviving past their first couple of years of life. Mothers in Ann’s time lived with the very real threat that the child they had so lovingly borne and nurtured would never live to see adulthood. ‘My Mother’ is a reminder of how precarious life has been for much of human history. Songwriters: Cahn Sammy And Fain Sammy : : : : : PERFORMERS Kathryn Beaumont (Wendy Darling) : : : : : : SHOWS The Disney Family Singalong ALBUMS Peter Pan (Official Soundtrack) : : : : Your Mother and Mine” is a song from the 1953 Disney animated feature film, Peter Pan. It was sung by Wendy Darling. It begins with her telling the Lost Boys about what a mother is like, while Captain Hook and his men, upon arrival, overheard it and became moved to tears by it, all except for Hook on the moved to tears part, while getting ready to kidnap them when they come out. The tender lullaby perfectly sums up a mother’s angelic qualities and describes her as having an unbreakable bond with her children. Tempo in the song is slowly and tenderly. eter Pan is a 1953 American animated adventure fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions and based on the 1904 play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up by J. M. Barrie.the film’s plot involves a group of children who meet Peter Pan and travel to the island of Never Land to stay young, where Peter also attempts to evade Captain Hook.Kathryn Beaumont as Wendy Darling, at 12 years old the eldest of the Darling children, who adores Peter Pan. She reminds the Lost Boys of their own mothers. She is the first of the Darling children to ask to return home. She has a very tame personality, wanting the best for everyone and grudging no one; even when the mermaids tease her nastily, she worries about the danger of their teasing more than their nastiness itself. She is naive, wise, and mature, and very trusting and faithful to her standards of conscience. The semi-autobiographical tale of a man becoming enamored of a little boy who he wants to steal away from his mother; in order to befriend the child, he makes up the story of Peter Pan, the fairy/bird/baby who lives in London’s Kensington Gardens. The story is set in World War 2. The stage play, Peter Pan, first premiered in 1904 and was set in the same year. Pan is set in England during World War 2, as the city of London is under attack by German air raids.Peter Pan was one of the most powerful villains ever faced, so powerful that even his son, Rumplestiltskin, the dark one was scared of him (although he may have just feared him so much because he was his father). Peter leaves his shadow to surely return to take it back : thus causing fear., Peter is literally a serial killer, and not just of pirates. Peter is explicitly said to kill members of the Lost Boys if they either got to old or didn’t follow his orders. Although not all people who come to Neverland cease to age, its best-known resident famously refused to grow up. Thus, the term is often used as a metaphor for eternal childhood (and childishness), as well as immortality and escapism. Parental guidance for children aged 5-7 years is recommended before you allow them read this story or view the movie Peter Pan 1953 / or 2003 or new upcoming movie in 2022.While the film presents the view that Peter Pan is seeking eternal youth, he is, in fact, obsessed with death. This characteristic is believed to come from J.M. Barrie’s own childhood experience of losing his brother, David. The story of Disney’s Peter Pan is decidedly more child-friendly than Barrie’s original story, but the general premise remains the same that Peter Pan is Antihero/ Villainous in behaviour.Captain Hook is the leader of a group of teenagers/adults who managed to escape from Peter Pan when he decided to kill them, forming a gang of their own and attempting to stop Peter Pan and his malicious acts to save the children and future victims. The pirate Captain Hook , causes trouble, the kids begin to miss their old life.Captain Hook is Peter Pan’s enemy because he cut his hand off and gave it to a crocodile to eat it so Hook always fears of the crocodile wanting to eat his complete body. Why Peter Pan never grow up? Eventually, these morals forge our behaviour, and consequently,we no longer live like we wish to. Again, Peter’s freedom, resulting from a lack of parental authority, may be why he never grows up. Paradoxically, JM Barrie keeps his story very realistic. We are told that fairies do exist: ”It is the fairy language.Peter Pan was a ‘young boy who still has all his first teeth’ which in itself would be unusual for an adolescent…but he had to get to that age somehow. Barrie explained his never ageing further as he ‘never wanted to grow up’. In common parlance , we tell such person : ” Come on , better you grow up , now. Perhaps because of his association with nature and animals, Pan did not have the appearance of a normal man. The bottom half of his body was like a goat. Peter usually has Wendy by his side; someone whose needs are met by meeting the needs of others. For example, the needs of a immature husband or children who don’t grow or fall because they are constantly under the protection of the Wendy. We calls this protectionist behaviour as ” Wendy Syndrome “.Unlike other deities, who by definition are immortal, Pan was believed to have died. As written up by Greek historian Plutarch, Pan’s alleged death occurred in the reign of Roman Emperor Tiberius (A.D. 14-37). The movie making on Peter Pan , is also not aging just like Peter Pan. With Gorgeous animations and amazing songs filming , Walt Disney remakes the film again and again. Why can’t they find more adventurous and exciting experience with other charismatic good characters : old or new ; invent afresh!?

Dirty old street all slushed up in the rain and snow Little boy and his ma shivering outside a rundown music store window That night on top of a Christmas tree shines one beautiful star And lying underneath a brand-new Japanese guitar
I remember in the morning, ma, hearing your alarm clock ring I’d lie in bed and listen to you getting ready for work, the sound of your makeup case on the sink And the ladies at the office, all lipstick, perfume and rustling skirts And how proud and happy you always looked walking home from work
If pa’s eyes were windows into a world so deadly and true You couldn’t stop me from looking but you kept me from crawling through And it’s a funny old world, mama, where a little boy’s wishes come true Well I got a few left in my pocket and a special one just for you
It ain’t no phone call on Sunday, flowers or a mother’s day card It ain’t no house on a hill with a garden and a nice little yard I got my hot rod down on Bond Street, I’m older but you’ll know me in a glance We’ll find us a little rock and roll bar and baby we’ll go out and dance
Alright now
Well it was me in my Beatle boots, you in pink curlers and matador pants Pulling me up off the couch to do the twist for my uncles and aunts Well I found a girl of my own now, ma, and I popped the question on your birthday She stood waiting on the front porch while you were telling me to get out there and say what it was that I had to say
Last night we all sat around laughing at the things that guitar brought us And I laid awake thinking ’bout the other things it’s brought us Well tonight I’m taking requests here in the kitchen, this one’s for you, ma, let me come right out and say it It’s overdue, but baby, if you’re looking for a sad song, well I ain’t gonna play it

This song is the touching story of how Adele Springsteen (Bruce’s mother) used money the family didn’t have to buy Bruce a guitar. The best moment comes at the end, when the song switches from past tense to present tense: “Well, tonight I’m taking requests here in the kitchen.”
It was not included on the album, nor was it performed live at the time. It Springsteen-the-wishwas put into the set at the second Christic Institute Benefit show, on November 17, 1990. Bruce introduced it as, “a song about his mother,” and told a short story about mothers.
Five years later, the song is put back in the set on December 17, 1995 at the Beacon Theater in New York City and played sporadically for the rest of the tour.
The studio recording was released on Tracks, November 10, 1998. Once again, the song is in the set for the 2003 Holiday shows. It’s played each night, December 5, 7 and 8, 2003 at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. This time Bruce sits at the piano for a beautiful new arrangement of the song.
In 2005, it’s only played twice, on May 19 and 27, in East Rutherford, NJ and London, England- respectively, again featuring Bruce at the grand piano. It was rehearsed at least one time in 2006.
” The Wish ” is , Bruce ‘s cinematic recollection of “Childhood Christmas” of a ‘Future Rock n Roll Superstar’ , as well as ‘Other Times’ in his life as I said before : This is a Song About ‘Versus mother’ where previous songs had always been Songs About his ‘Dad Songs’ , like ‘Factory’ and ‘mantion on the hill’ , and ‘ My Father’s House ‘ ( read/ enjoy it from my earlier post As Father’s Day Song in this blog ‘ ‘MADHUMALTI’ ) : somewhat similar in style but, this is to me is better than both of those Fantastic songs.: Most of ‘the story told’ in this song is ‘very straightforward’ ; and the most intriguing lines to me are in the 3 rd Verse where the storyteller says : If pause eyes were windows in to a world so deadly and true you could not stop me from looking , but you kept me from crawling through To me those lines where Bruce seems to be saying that his mother allowed him to see the life that his father lived and bought him that Guitar 🎸 and gave it to him for Christmas so he might have a chance at a better life for himself , the song quickly moves forward 30 years and the final Verse reminisces about the Rock Star 🔯 reminiscing 🌟 about the ‘fortunes’ brought by that ‘Childhood Gift’ of ‘Guitar’ : : ( As Said In his Vlog from US , By Mike Makaluco : : ( Audio Engineer and Host of Rare Springsteen Radio Show vast knowledge of the works of Bruce Springsteen being his friend. Promise to Try Lyrics [Verse 1] Little girl, don’t you forget her face Laughing away your tears When she was the one who felt all the pain
[Verse 2] Little girl, never forget her eyes Keep them alive inside I promise to try But it’s not the same
[Chorus] Keep your head held high Ride like the wind Never look behind, life isn’t fair That’s what you said, so I try not to care
[Verse 3] Little girl, don’t run away so fast I think you forgot to kiss Kiss her goodbye
[Chorus] Will she see me cry when I stumble and fall? Does she hear my voice in the night when I call? Wipe away all your tears, it’s gonna be all right
[Bridge] I fought to be so strong I guess you knew I was afraid You’d go away too
[Verse 4] Little girl, you’ve got to forget the past And learn to forgive me I promise to try But it feels like a lie
[Chorus] Don’t let memory play games with your mind She’s a faded smile frozen in time I’m still hanging on But I’m doing it wrong
[Outro] Can’t kiss her goodbye But I promise to try

When asked about the album itself, Madonna responded saying it was “about my mother, my father, and bonds with my family.”
“Promise to Try” carries the theme of family, dedicated to Madonna’s mother, Madonna Louise Ciccone who passed away from breast cancer when Madonna was only five years old. The album itself is also dedicated to Ciccone, with the Madonna simply stating” : :
“This album is dedicated to my mother, who taught me how to pray.” : : : : Once , Madonna said to , about Music helping her cope with her loss , as reported by Rolling Stones : ” I’ve turned my need on to the world and said, ‘OK, I don’t have a mother to love me, I’m going to make the world love me.” ; : : : What has Madonna said about how her mother dealt with her sickness?
“But I don’t think she ever allowed herself to wallow in the tragedy of her situation. So in that respect I think she gave me an incredible lesson.”
-Madonna, via Chicago Tribune : : : : And about ‘ death’ influencing her music career : ” I became very obsessed with death, and the idea that you never know when death will arrive, so one has to do as much as possible all the time to get the most out of life. That would be a motivating force. And death was a big part of my life growing up. I went to lots of funerals … But you digress.”
-Madonna, via Interview Magazine : : : : : : : What has Madonna said about the negative effects of her mother’s death?
I know that some of my lack of inhibition comes from my mother’s death. For example, mothers teach you manners. And I absolutely did not learn any of those rules and regulations. And because I had such a large family, I realized that I would only be noticed and heard if I made the biggest noise. If I wanted my father’s attention, I would get on a table and tap-dance and lift my dress and–guess what–he’d pay attention to me.

Doctor’s Orders Lyrics [Carol Douglas talking to someone on the telephone over the instrumental intro]
[Female background vocal group singing over Carol Douglas’ continuous spoken voice during the musical break]: (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Doctor’s orders say there’s only one thing for Me Nothing He can do, ’cause only You can cure Me It says in My condition love’s the best physician He’s prescribed a potion full of warm emotion
A loving spoonful to be taken It’s the only way To stop this empty heart of Mine from breaking
I won’t get better until You’re back again He told Me, doctor’s orders need Your loving arms to hold Me Darling, now I know there is no doubt about it I’m so fond of Your love, I can’t live without it
You’re away But, please don’t treat Me like a stranger Doctor’s orders say One kiss from You and I am out of danger
[Female background vocal group singing over Carol Douglas’ spoken ad-lib during the instrumental interlude]: (Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, hey, hey, hey, hey)
Doctor’s orders say there’s only one thing for Me Nothing He can do, ’cause only You can cure Me It says in My condition God’s My best physician He’s prescribed a potion full of warm emotion
I won’t get better until You’re back again.

“Carrie was with her fiancé and I was getting married. My mother had passed away and Carrie has a very close relationship with her mother. We got on the subject of why there are all these songs for fathers and daughters. What about the mothers who changed our diapers?“ “Mama’s Song” came together in an hour. “I think everyone was crying when we wrote it.”( Co-writer Kara Dioguardi said Via Billboards ) : : : : She’s saying her mom taught her the facts of life and growing up, she was always the one there for her whenever she needed her mom. Her mom wants the very best for her daughter, and Carrie is saying she found exactly that; her future husband who takes care of her, and treats her, as the song says, like a real man should treat a woman and he will always be there for her.
Just makes me smile everytime because it reminds me of my own guy. 🙂 : : : : When she first started to write it, it was about her mother and her and almost took a wedding form. Then the more she wrote it she saw the spritual part of it and wanted to keep it general so that it wasn’t directed just at those who were being given away for marriage. She is one of my favorite artists! I love her love for God and here is the interview she did for the song that I am referencing. He is soo good! : : : : Combining elements of “Don’t Forget to Remember Me” and “All American Girl,” a woman thinks back on the things her mother taught her as she starts to raise a child of her own. : ; : :
This loving tribute to Carrie Underwood’s mother was written by the American Idol star along with Nashville-based songwriter Luke Laird, rock/pop writer/producer Marty Frederiksen and pop hitmaker Kara DioGuardi. In this song, Underwood thanks her mom for teaching her some important life lessons. She told Billboard magazine: “I really am in a good place in my life and I think that does show.” This song talks about finding the right guy for mama’s little girl. It is the most personal of the seven tracks Underwood co-wrote for the album and the presence of her boyfriend, Ottawa Senators center Mike Fisher, can be felt on the song. Laird commented to The Associated Press: “I think a lot of girls around her age are thinking about getting married. I think that was probably easier for her to write – not that she’s thinking about getting married. I wouldn’t know.” It should be noted that this song was written at a time when Kari DioGuardi was planning her wedding, without her mother, who passed away in 1997. CMT News asked Underwood if there was there a time where DioGuardi came out with a lyric and you thought, “How’d you come up with that?” She replied: “Well, she’s a little bluesy. She’s got this different thing about her voice. Her phrasing and my phrasing are completely different, which was really good because my motto is that I can make anything fit. I can make as many words as you need fit. I can find a way to get them in that line. And she’d lay back a little more and could figure out other ways how to say things instead of doing it like I do and cram in stuff all weird. But it really worked between the two of us. I think we have a lot of the same vocal range, too. And that helps, too, because sometimes when you write with just men, they don’t understand. Like, ‘I can’t sing that an octave higher, and I can’t sing it where you’re singing it, so we’re going to have to work something out.'” Laird told The Boot the story of the song: “We wrote this song on the same day as ‘Undo It.’ We were in Los Angeles at Sunset Marquis Hotel … about two years ago. I got this call from Carrie’s management, and they were like, ‘Hey, do you want to go out L.A. and write with Carrie?’ I was like, ‘Well, yeah. I’d write with Carrie in Dothan, Alabama. if I have to!’ [laughs] She was already booked to write with Kara and Marty; I don’t know why I got invited, maybe just because Carrie and I had written together before and she felt comfortable with it or something. We got out there, and Kara came in the first day with the idea of ‘Undo It.’ We wrote it, and everybody was like we’ve got time, let’s do another one. We figured that we wrote this cool, rockin’, uptempo thing, let’s shift gears. So Marty and I started playing that slow musical thing. Kara and Carrie seemed to be into it. Carrie just came out with that first line, ‘Mama, you taught me to do the right things.’ And this was before she was engaged, obviously, but she was in a relationship. We knew where this was coming from. Nobody was like, ‘Oh, are you and Mike [Fisher] going to get married?’ We just went with it, and thought it was something cool to write. It was real special for Kara, too, because she had lost her mom; you could tell they were really close. You could see Kara and Carrie bonding, talking about their moms. For me, I was coming from the place where I wasn’t engaged to [my wife] Beth yet, but I was thinking, ‘I hope she feels this way about me!’ [laughs]It was just a really good co-write. It didn’t feel forced or anything. I love that we wrote a song like ‘Undo It,’ and then went right into something like ‘Mama’s Song.’ That’s the thing about writing songs; you just do whatever you want to do and whatever you feel. Beth’s mom thinks that’s the best song I’ve ever written because she’s a mom and her daughter married me. I played it for Beth’s mom in the car, and she was all teary-eyed. It was cool.”
